GameStop Has a Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360 Bundle for $160
If you’re one of those type that needs to have every console under the sun in the gaming room, GameStop wants to sell you its overstock pre-owned Nintendo Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360. For this week and online-only, GameStop is selling all three used consoles for only $160. It’s a pretty good deal when you consider just the PS3 alone in pre-owned condition sells for about $170 at Best Buy (which is as overpriced as it gets).
The bundle can be found here and as mentioned is available online-only. You won’t find it at an individual GameStop, nor can you get free store pickup. You’ll need to pay for shipping which ranges from $7.99 for 4-7 business day all the way up to $15.99 next day shipping (though high, isn’t all that bad when you factor in three console being shipped).
What’s exactly included in these bundles? Your standard Xbox 360 White (this is the older, non-Slim version), Nintendo Wii White, and PlayStation 3 160GB Slim console. Each console is in pre-owned condition but includes all the power cables necessary to run the systems and one controller for each units. GameStop is also throwing in a refurbished 20GB Xbox 360 hard drive so you can store just a wee bit more games.
While GameStop labels these units as pre-owned refurbished, we’re fairly certain that’s in GameStop’s standard, and not a full-on factory refurbish unit that you’ll find from say… Nintendo Outlet or Microsoft Store.
Interestingly, while GameStop won’t let you buy the bundle piecemeal at a discounted price, on our database end we see that they are pricing the used bundles SKUs as such: the PS3 is $77.78; the Wii U for $33.33, and the Xbox 360 for $38.89. This adds up to $150, so we’re guessing the missing $10 is for the refurbished 20GB Xbox 360 hard drive. No surprises from us that the PS3 is worth more than both the Wii and Xbox 360 combined.
